HUD Properties can be purchased by any person who can qualify
for a basic FHA loan. You do not need to be low income, on
disability or some other thing to qualify to buy. Individuals usually need 3% to 4%
down and investors need 25%. Each HUD Region has different rules. The above
information is a quick summary only. In the Santa Ana Region, which is the primary region my office services, you also usually
will need a $2000 cashier's check and a loan committment letter from a approved HUD lender.
